JoSAA 2026 mein 5-6 rounds hote hain. Pehle 2 rounds mock allotment ke liye hote hain, phir 5 actual rounds mein seat allotment hota hai.

Mock Round 1 & 2

Practice ke liye - koi actual allotment nahi. Apni choices test karo.

R1

Round 1 - Seat Allotment

Pehla actual allotment. Seat accept karke document upload karo ya withdraw karo.

R2

Round 2 - Upgrade Ya Accept

Agar better seat mil sakti hai to "Float" option rakho, warna "Freeze" karke lock karo.

R3

Round 3 & 4 - Further Upgrades

Choices ke basis pe aur better options milne ke chances. Har round mein decision lena hoga.

R5

Round 5 & 6 - Final Allotment

Last rounds mein available seats ke basis pe final allotment. Iske baad reporting mandatory.

Important: Har round ke baad aapko 3 options milte hain: Freeze (current seat lock karo), Float (better seat milne par upgrade ho jao), Slide (same institute mein better branch ke liye).

JoSAA Registration & Login

josaa.nic.in pe JEE Main / JEE Advanced Roll Number se register karo. Email aur mobile verify karo.

Registration deadline miss mat karna - baad mein apply nahi kar sakte.

Choice Filling & Locking

Apni preferred institute-branch combinations fill karo. Maximum choices fill karo - jitni zyada choices, utna better chance. Finally "Lock" button click karo.

Expert tip: Pehle dream choices, phir realistic, phir safe choices rakho. Hamare counsellors se help lo.

Mock Allotment Check Karo

2 mock rounds mein dekho ki aapko roughly konsi seat mil sakti hai. Iske basis pe choices adjust karo.

Actual Seat Allotment

Round 1 se allotment start hoga. Allotted seat dekho aur decide karo - Accept, Float, ya Withdraw.

Seat Acceptance & Fee Payment

Seat accept karne ke baad online seat acceptance fee pay karo. IIT ke liye alag, NIT ke liye alag fee hoti hai.

Fee pay nahi ki to seat automatically cancel ho jaati hai.

Document Upload & Verification

Required documents online upload karo. Original documents lekar reporting center ya allotted institute pe jaao.

Final Reporting & Admission

Allotted college mein documents ke saath report karo. Medical fitness certificate bhi saath rakho. Admission complete!

Expert Tips - Choice Filling Strategy

Jitni zyada choices, utna better

Minimum 50-100 choices fill karo. Sirf dream colleges mat daalo - realistic aur safe options bhi add karo. Zyada choices = better seat milne ke chances.

Priority Order sahi rakho

Top priority wali choice 1 pe rakho. System automatically best available seat allot karta hai based on your rank. Choice ka order bahut important hai.

Float vs Freeze - Soch ke decide karo

Float rakhoge to next round mein better seat milne par automatic upgrade hoga. Freeze karoge to current seat pakki ho jaati hai. Last 2 rounds mein freeze karna safer hota hai.

Deadline strictly follow karo

Har round mein acceptance aur fee payment ki deadline hoti hai. Ek bhi deadline miss hui to seat cancel. Calendar mein sab dates mark kar lo aur notification on rakho.
