About This Course

MD in Paediatrics is a 3-year postgraduate program specializing in the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years. Students learn neonatology, pediatric infectious diseases, pediatric nutrition, developmental pediatrics, and pediatric emergency medicine. Pediatricians are in constant high demand given India's large child population. Career opportunities exist in hospitals, neonatal ICUs, child health clinics, and academic institutions. Pediatricians can further specialize through DM in Pediatric Cardiology or Neonatology. Building a private pediatric practice offers excellent income potential. Eligibility requires MBBS with NEET-PG qualification and strong NEET-PG rank.
