About This Course

M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering is a 2-year postgraduate program specializing in advanced power generation, transmission, distribution, smart grids, FACTS devices, and renewable energy integration. India is undergoing massive transformation of its power sector with large-scale renewable energy integration and smart grid development. Graduates work with NTPC, PGCIL, state electricity boards, power equipment manufacturers, and consulting firms. Career roles include power systems engineer, smart grid specialist, renewable energy integration expert, and power project manager. GATE qualified students receive JRF fellowship at IITs and research institutions. Eligibility requires B.Tech in Electrical or EEE with minimum 60% marks.
