About This Course
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is a 5.5-year undergraduate program including one year of mandatory internship. It covers Ayurvedic principles, Panchakarma therapy, herbal medicine, Ayurvedic pharmacology, and modern anatomy and physiology. BAMS graduates can register as Ayurvedic doctors and practice independently or work in Ayurvedic hospitals, wellness centers, and pharmaceutical companies. The growing global interest in natural and holistic medicine is boosting demand for BAMS professionals. Graduates can also pursue MD (Ayurveda) for specialization. Eligibility requires 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum 50% marks.
