About This Course

MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) is a 3-year postgraduate dental specialization program. Available specializations include Orthodontics, Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Oral Medicine. MDS specialists command significantly higher patient fees and career opportunities compared to general BDS practitioners. Orthodontists and oral surgeons are in particularly high demand with growing awareness of dental aesthetics. MDS graduates work in dental hospitals, specialty dental clinics, dental colleges, and private practice. A successful specialist dental practice can generate ?15-50 LPA. Eligibility requires BDS with MDS entrance examination (NEET-MDS) qualification.
