The Office of the Director General, Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh has issued an official notice (No. ME-3/2026/1590 dated 01.09.2026) announcing the Extended Time Schedule of the First Round of Online Counselling Registration for UP NEET UG-2026. This is in continuation of the time-table issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, for admission to state quota seats of UG courses (MBBS/BDS) in Government/Private Medical/Dental Colleges and Universities of the state.

Reservation Arrangement for NCC Cadets
As per UP NEET UG-2026 Government Order No. 1448377/2026/71-4099/1011/2022 dated 01.09.2026, under sub-point (b) of point no. 6 – serial no. 4 of horizontal reservation, the following arrangement has been made for NCC cadets:

What Should Candidates Do Now?
- Complete online registration and document upload within the extended window – by 02 September 2026, 02:00 PM.
- Deposit the registration fee and security money before 02 September 2026, 03:00 PM.
- NCC cadets holding a valid ‘C’ or ‘B’ certificate (minimum ‘B’ grading) should ensure their certificate details are correctly uploaded to claim the 1% horizontal reservation.
- Keep checking upneet.gov.in and dgme.up.gov.in regularly, as the merit list will be declared on 02 September 2026 itself.
