JCECEB: Revised Schedule for Round 2 (Second Round) Online Counselling 2026 — MBBS, BDS & BHMS
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued a press communique revising the schedule for the 2nd Round of Online Counselling for admission to M.B.B.S., B.D.S. & B.H.M.S. courses, in compliance with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi's direction dated 27.08.2026 on the NEET-UG 2026 Round 2 schedule.

Important Points for Candidates
- Candidates admitted in the 1st Round who wish to change their course and institute against remaining vacant seats may participate in the 2nd Round. If re-allotted, taking admission to the newly allotted course/institute is mandatory — their earlier admission stands automatically cancelled, and the vacated seat is re-allotted on merit-cum-choice basis.
- Admitted candidates applying for upgradation of course/institute may also be upgraded to a different category/quota, depending on actual vacancy available at the candidate's merit.
- Candidates already included in the State Merit List for the 1st Round need not fill a fresh online application form for the 2nd Round.
- A candidate recommended for a State Quota seat who wishes to join an All India Quota (AIQ) allotted seat must surrender the State Quota seat and submit a resignation to the State Quota admitting institute — the candidate's security money will be forfeited.
- This notification modifies advertisements JCECEB/46/26-47 (06.08.2026), JCECEB/46/26-52 (08.08.2026), JCECEB/46/26-53 (08.08.2026) & JCECEB/46/26-60 (19.08.2026) to this extent; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
