Jharkhand Government and Central Government offer multiple scholarships every year to students from Jharkhand. Here is the complete updated list for 2026 academic year.
JHARKHAND STATE SCHOLARSHIPS:
1. CM Scholarship Yojana (CMSY) Jharkhand 2026
- For SC/ST/OBC/Minority students
- Class 9 to PG level
- Amount: Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 30,000 per year
- Apply: ekalyan.cgg.gov.in
2. Mukhyamantri Shikshacare Yojana
- For girl students (8th to 12th)
- Rs. 600-2,000 monthly stipend
- Reduces dropout rate
3. Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship
- For ST students for Masters/PhD abroad
- Up to Rs. 30 Lakh per student (UK/USA top universities)
4. Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vistar Yojana
- For toppers in Class 10
- Free coaching + Rs. 50,000 stipend
CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS:
5. Pre-Matric Scholarship — For SC/ST/Minority Class 9-10
6. Post-Matric Scholarship — For SC/ST/Minority above Class 10
7. NSP National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in)
8. INSPIRE Scholarship (Department of Science) — Rs. 80,000/year for science PG
9. National Means cum Merit Scholarship — Rs. 12,000/year for Class 9-12
10. PM Yashasvi Scholarship — For Top 9000 OBC/SBC students
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
- Mark sheets (latest)
- Income certificate (less than Rs. 2.5 Lakh for most schemes)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Bank account passbook
- Aadhaar card
- Domicile certificate (Jharkhand resident proof)
DEADLINE: Most scholarships open August-October every year. Apply early to avoid technical issues.
